Is the Elsa 2.5 seater a good sofa for a small room?

Yes — that's what it's built for. The 2.5 seater fits where a full three-seater won't, while still seating more comfortably than a two-seater. If you're working with a compact living room, a snug, or an apartment, it's a sensible size. Send us your room measurements and we'll confirm it fits before you order.

What size is the 2.5 seater exactly?

All measurements are approximate and handmade to a small tolerance — bring us your room dimensions and we'll confirm the fit. 

Can I add a chaise longue?

Yes. The Elsa can be built with a chaise longue, left or right facing, if you want somewhere to stretch out. It's a good way to add lounging space without the full footprint of a corner sofa. Contact us and we'll work out whether it suits your room.

Are the covers removable?

Yes. The Elsa has loose cushions with removable covers, so covers can be taken off for cleaning — useful in a room that gets a lot of use. Care requirements vary by fabric grade, so ask us about the fabric you're considering if washability is a priority.

What are the cushions filled with?

The seat is sprung with layered high-resilience foam; the back is a fibre-ball, feather and chopped-foam mix, which gives the Elsa its soft feel. Feather-mix cushions benefit from regular plumping to keep their shape. 

What armrest and leg options are there?

A choice of armrest styles and a choice of legs in oiled and black-lacquered finishes. .

What fabric options are available?

Five fabric grades (Grade 1 through Grade 5). Confirm your chosen fabric name with us at purchase. Samples are available in our Cork showroom.

Can the Elsa be built bigger than a 2.5 seater?

Yes. The Elsa is a modular system — this page is the 2.5 seater, but it extends to larger sizes, corner and chaise longue builds. See the fully modular options. 

Is the Villa Elsa certified?

Yes. The Villa collection carries FSC certification — the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests and traceable through production. Upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex® certified, containing no allergy-promoting or harmful chemicals.

How long does it take Elsa to arrive?

8 weeks lead time from production to delivery.

You can pay in full at checkout, or choose the 50% deposit option. With the deposit, you're charged 50% today and the remaining 50% is invoiced to you before delivery — you won't be charged the balance until your Elsa is ready.
