How do I clean Ethnicraft oak or teak furniture?

Ethnicraft’s teak furniture is naturally oil-rich and doesn’t require treatment. Oak furniture comes with either a hardwax oil or varnish finish and only needs re-oiling occasionally if exposed to wear. We recommend using Ethnicraft's own care products for best results.

Does Ethnicraft oak furniture need oiling?

Teak is naturally oil-rich and requires no treatment to maintain its finish. Oak pieces come finished in either hardwax oil or varnish — hardwax oil finishes benefit from occasional re-oiling if the surface shows wear, roughly once a year for a dining table in regular use. For cleaning and re-oiling, Ethnicraft's own care products are the safest option. Using placemats and coasters on dining surfaces will extend the finish further.

What warranty does Ethnicraft furniture carry?

Ethnicraft furniture carries a standard 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and structural issues. Given the build quality, warranty claims are rare — but the cover is there if needed.
