Cookies and website analytics
We use a third party analytics tracker, Google Analytics, which may use cookies to track the path you navigate through our site, and the duration. This is to help us improve our website flow and your shopping experience.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a cookie which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way cannot be used to identify you.
Advertising and website measurement
We use the Meta Pixel on our website. This is code provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells us how many people who saw our ads went on to visit our site, view a product or make a purchase, and it allows us to show ads to people who have visited our website.
The pixel shares information with Meta about the pages you view and the actions you take on our site, such as adding an item to your basket or completing an order. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used, and Google Ads to measure the performance of our advertising.
These tools only run if you accept them through our cookie banner. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
Email marketing
If you sign up to our newsletter, or agree to receive marketing when you place an order, we will send you emails about our products, offers and showroom events.
We use Brevo to send these emails and to manage our subscriber list. Brevo is provided by Sendinblue, a simplified joint-stock company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 498 019 298 with its registered office at 9-17, rue Salneuve 75017 Paris, and acts as a data processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We share your name, email address and marketing preferences with Brevo, along with information about your orders so that the emails we send are relevant to you. Your data is stored on Brevo's servers in France and Belgium.
The two hosting sub-processors are OVH (France, servers in France) and Google Cloud Platform (France, servers in Belgium).
Our marketing emails include tracking that tells us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this only to understand which of our emails our customers find useful.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every marketing email, or by emailing customercare@podfurniture.ie. We will stop sending marketing emails as soon as you do. We keep a record of your unsubscribe so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop emails about an order you have placed, such as order confirmations and delivery updates.
How long we keep your information

- Retain inactive accounts — 12 months. For infrequent users to retain their account; users who have not logged in or placed an order after 12 months will have their data deleted.
