Thanks for shopping with Pod Furniture! We hope that you will be truly delighted with your purchase, but there may be an occasion where you feel it necessary to return or exchange an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible.
Returns & Refunds:
In store:
If you have changed your mind or if you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. We can then offer you a credit note, to the value of your returned purchase within 7 days.
We reserve the right to refuse a return under this policy, if the goods are not in a re-saleable, as sold condition. As sold condition means that the item is undamaged and unused and in its original packaging. Refunds will be refused for items returned without an original receipt. The customer is responsible to ensure all packaging is intact.
Some items are exempt from refunds or exchanges, such as mattresses, gift cards, custom orders, and clearance/ex-display/sold-as-seen items.
Online & Over the Phone:
As per the EU Consumer Rights Directive, when you receive your online order, if you decide that you do not want the goods as they no longer suit you or you have changed your mind, you have 14 days to return the item and receive a refund of the cost of the item. Please be aware that you will be responsible for all delivery costs when returning goods to our store. This 14 day ‘cooling-off’ period does not apply to bespoke products which have been personalised to your specifications.
While the item(s) are in your possession you must take appropriate care of them. They must be in “as new” condition, meaning without partial or full assembly, and returned in their original and undamaged packaging. We cannot accept responsibility for any packages lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Once we receive the item, we can then issue you a refund.

Faulty product:
It is your responsibility to inspect all items at the time of delivery. Any faults/damages with an item need to be reported to us immediately. If there appears to be a manufacturing issue with your product, please contact our team at customercare@podfurniture.ie and allow up to 5 working days for our customer service team to contact you with an update.
Custom orders:
If you are unhappy with your custom item(s), or if you change your mind after purchase, we are unable to offer a refund or an exchange. As our custom products are made specifically for each customer, it is not possible to refund the item(s) once ordered. The Consumer Rights Act 2022 states that the standard 14-day cooling off period does not apply to personalised or custom-made products. This applies to any made-to-order items, such as ‘Pre-Order’ products or furniture that’s custom made to your chosen specifications.
