What 3-seater sofas does Pod Furniture offer?

Pod's 3-seater sofa collection includes different designs — from compact everyday sofas to bespoke modular pieces that can be extended into corner or L-shaped configurations. Most of the sofas in the collection are made to order and fully customisable in size, fabric grade, leg finish, and cover type.

Our 3-seater range includes designs from three of Europe's most respected sofa manufacturers:

• SITS — Swedish-designed, handcrafted in Europe, configurable across five fabric grades including linen, with fixed or removable cover options. ISO 9001 certified quality throughout.
• Villa — Lithuanian-crafted with Scandinavian design values. The Andes 3-seater is available with custom legs, removable covers, and loose cushions — part of a modular system built to adapt as your room and life change. FSC™ certified production facility.
• Furninova — Designed in Sweden, manufactured in Europe with FSC®-certified solid European wood frames. The Eden and Birmingham are both available as 3-seaters — the Birmingham also offering a loose cover option for families and pet owners.
  

2. What materials are Pod's 3-seater sofas made from?

The 3-seater sofa collection at Pod includes sofas with solid European wood frame — FSC®-certified across the Furninova range and FSC™ certified across the Villa collection. SITS frames carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, which is the clearest possible signal of construction quality.

Upholstery is available across five fabric grades depending on model selected — from Grade 1 everyday fabrics to Grade 4 and 5 natural linen blends — as well as leather options on selected models. Oeko-tex® certified upholstery is available in fabric and leather options, independently verified free from harmful chemicals.

Selected SITS and Villa models come with removable, washable covers — the most practical option for family homes and pet owners. Ask our team which specific models include this feature.

3. Do your 3-seater sofas come with a warranty?

Yes. Warranty terms vary by brand and model — but across the SITS collection, every sofa includes 2-year frame warranty as standard. The rest of the sofas offer a 2 year warranty as well, depending on the prodcuct. Please, refer to the individual product page or contact our team at the Cork showroom. Warranty details are confirmed at the time of order.

4. How does delivery work?

Pod delivers to all counties in the Republic of Ireland and Ulster. Delivery is free on orders over €399 within the Republic of Ireland. 

Delivery lead times vary by product and brand — made-to-order sofas typically take longer than ready-to-ship pieces, and this is listed clearly under the price on each product page. Once your order is confirmed, the team will contact you to arrange a date and time that works for you. Check our page for Other Delivery Details and Rates. 

5. How does payment work?

A 50% deposit secures your sofa at the point of order. The remaining balance is due just before delivery — which means you are not paying in full for a sofa that has not yet been made. This structure is designed to work with your lead time, not against it.

6. How do I care for my 3-seater sofa?

Selected SITS and Villa 3-seater models come with removable, washable covers — the single most practical feature for family homes and pet owners. For fabric sofas, vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and follow the care guidance that arrives with your sofa. For leather sofas, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and keep away from direct heat and sunlight.

Every sofa arrives with specific care instructions matched to the fabric grade or leather you have chosen. If you have questions about care before ordering — ask the team when choosing your fabric grade.

7. How do I get started?

Three ways — whichever suits you best:

• Visit us in person — Our Douglas showroom in Cork is open for walk-ins and free consultations. Bring your room measurements, colour references, fabric swatches, or Pinterest inspiration. The team will take it from there.
