Sit the family across it, or lie right out on your own. You pick the fabric, the legs and the size; we build it to your room. No fuss — just the sofa you'll actually use.

Is it big enough for a family?

The three-seater is a proper full-size sofa — room for the family to sit together, or for one person to stretch right out. If you need more, it's modular, so it extends to an L-shape or corner. Send us your room measurements and we'll confirm the fit.

Are the covers removable?

Yes. The River has loose cushions, a loose fit and removable covers, so covers can be taken off for cleaning — handy for a family sofa. Care requirements vary by fabric grade, so don't forget to ask us if washability is a priority. See the Exclusive Villa Fabrics or order a sample

What are the cushions filled with?

The seat is sprung with high-resilience foam; the back cushions are a fibre-ball and chopped-foam mix, which gives the River its soft, relaxed feel. The loose cushions benefit from regular plumping to keep their shape.

Can I build it as a corner or L-shape?

Yes — the River is modular, with corner, L-shape and chaise builds, left or right facing. It's a good way to make a bigger sofa for a family room. 

What legs does it come with?

A choice of finishes — oiled, black, mokka, white oiled or black metal, in two heights. Specify your choice with us, as it can affect the price. 

Is the River available in other sizes?

Yes. This page is the three-seater, but the River comes in other sizes, a smaller 2.5-seater, and an L-shape corner.

What fabric options are available?

Five fabric grades. Please, confirm your chosen fabric name with us at purchase. Samples are available in our Cork showroom. See the Fabric Options or Order a Sample

Is the Villa Collection certified?

Yes. The Villa collection carries FSC certification — the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests and traceable through production. Upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex® certified, containing no allergy-promoting or harmful chemicals.

How long does the River take to arrive?

Approximately 8 weeks from production to delivery. We recommend planning in advance if you're moving or refurnishing your home. 

How does payment work?

Two ways: pay in full at checkout, or start with a 50% deposit. With the deposit, half is taken today and the balance is invoiced only once your River is ready to deliver — nothing more comes off in between.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork. Don't live in the area? Book a video consultation.
