How to Care for Your Story Dining Table
This table has a wood veneer, so it needs slightly different care to solid wood:
For regular care, dust with a soft microfibre cloth. To clean or remove spills, wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a microfibre cloth to prevent spotting. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a lightly damp cloth, then drying the area completely. As veneer is a thin layer of natural wood, extra care should be taken to avoid scratches, chips and prolonged exposure to moisture.
Use coasters, placemats, tablecloths and runners to protect the surface from heat, stains and abrasive objects. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, direct sunlight, excessive heat, and leaving items in the same position for extended periods, as this may cause permanent discolouration. With proper care, your veneer furniture will maintain its appearance and longevity for years to come.
