The Sigge doesn't mind how you sit: the armrests are as soft as the back, so you can lean into the side, throw your legs over, or curl into the corner and it's just as comfortable. It's a bespoke, modular sofa, so you build the shape your room needs, in your choice of fabric or leather, with a choice of legs. Comfort all around — that's the whole idea.

What makes the SITS Sigge different?

Its all-round comfort. The armrests are as soft as the backrest, so you can lean or lounge against the side just as easily as the back — there's no single "right" way to sit on it. Add the modular, bespoke design and the choice of fabric or leather, and it's a genuinely flexible, genuinely comfortable sofa.

Can I really lean on the armrests like a backrest?

Yes — that's the idea. The armrests are padded to be as soft as the back, so they're comfortable to lean into, rest against or drape your legs over. It suits the way people actually lounge rather than sit upright.

Can I have it in leather?

Yes — the Sigge is one of the few SITS sofas available in leather as well as fabric. Note that leather comes with the fixed cover only. Ask us about the leather options at purchase.

What are the cover options?

A fixed cover, or a removable Velcro-fitted cover. The removable option lets you take the covers off for cleaning; the fixed cover gives a permanently fitted look. Leather is available with the fixed cover only.

What's the difference between Standard and Lux filling?

Standard is the firmer, more supportive, lower-maintenance option; Lux is softer and plumper, with a feather-filled feel that benefits from regular plumping. Prices are based on Standard; Lux is an upgrade. 

What legs does it come with?

A choice of wood (no.141) or metal (no.177, in chrome or painted black). The legs can be fixed under the armrest or under the frame, depending on the look you prefer. Prices are based on the no.141 wood legs; specify your choice with us at order or feel free to contact us if you have questions on pricing. 

What sizes does it come in?

This is the three-seater (206cm), however the Sigge is modular, so it comes from a two-seater up to an L-shape, including armless modules and a corner-and-bench configuration. Book a free consultation so we can figure out together what configurations suit your home best. 

What fabric options are available?

Five fabric grades — Grade 1 through Grade 5. Grade 1 contains the highest proportion of synthetic fibres; Grade 5 the least, with the most natural fibres including linen. Higher grades carry a higher price. Confirm your chosen fabric or leather name with us at purchase. Samples are available in our Cork showroom.

How long does the Sigge take to arrive?

The Sigge is made to order — approximately 12 weeks from production to delivery.

How does payment work?

Because a sofa is a considered choice, we wanter to give our customers more flexibility. You can pay in full at checkout, or start with a 50% deposit. With the deposit, half is taken today and the balance is invoiced only once your Sigge is ready to deliver — nothing more comes off in between.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric and leather samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork. Walks in are always welcome. If you prefer to have dedicated time with one of our designers, we recommend booking a 30-minutes consultation.
