The Meadow is defined by how much its armrest changes it. Choose from a range of styles — from a 3cm sliver, so slim the sofa reads as almost armless, to a broad 31cm arm you can rest a cup and a book on. That single choice sets the whole character of the sofa, from pared-back to generous. Behind it sit loose cushions with removable covers over a sprung base and layered high-resilience foam, a low frame, and a modular system that builds from an armchair to a corner sofa and mirrors left or right. Fabric or leather, a choice of oiled legs, and footstools and a neckrest to finish it. Made to order, configured to your room.

What makes the Villa Meadow different from other Villa sofas?

Its armrests. The Meadow offers the widest armrest range in the collection — from a 3cm sliver that makes the sofa read as almost armless, to a broad 31cm arm with real presence. That one choice changes the whole look of the sofa more than any other, which makes the Meadow the most adaptable Villa sofa on character.

How many armrest styles are there?

They range from a slim 3cm profile to a substantial 31cm one. The narrowest is not available on chaise longue modules. 

How much does the armrest change the width?

A lot — the armrests range from 3cm to 31cm each, so on a two-armrest sofa that's a consistent difference in total width for the same seat module. Always add your armrest choice to the module width when measuring your space.

What sizes can I order?

The Meadow comes as an Armchair, 2 Seater, 3 Seater, L Shape or Corner Sofa. If none suits your room, it's fully customisable — the modular system extends to larger sizes, additional corners and chaise longues through our custom sofa form.

Can I order the Meadow as a corner or L-shape sofa?

Yes. Both an L-Shape and a Corner Sofa are standard configurations and can be built left or right-facing. Tell us which way your room runs and we'll set it up to suit.

What fabric and leather options are available?

Five fabric grades (Grade 1 through Grade 5) and two leather options (Leather A and Leather B). Please note the grade you choose and confirm the fabric name with us at purchase. Samples are available — contact us or visit us in Douglas, Cork.

Are the covers removable?

Yes. The Meadow has loose cushions with removable covers, so covers can be taken off for cleaning. Care requirements vary by fabric grade — ask us before ordering if washability is a priority.

Is the Meadow comfortable?

The Meadow is built on a sprung base with layered high-resilience foam and fibre padding beneath the upholstery, rather than foam alone. Loose cushions can be plumped and rotated to hold their shape over time. Comfort is personal, though — the best way to judge it is to sit on one. Visit us in Douglas, Cork.

What legs does it come with?

A choice of oiled leg finishes. 

Are the sides of the sofa covered?

The sides of each seat module can be covered in fabric for an additional charge — worth specifying if the Meadow will sit away from a wall.

Are footstools and a neckrest available?

Yes — two footstool sizes (90×70cm and 45×70cm) and an optional neckrest, all to order. 

Are the measurements exact?

The Meadow is handmade using soft materials, so measurements can vary by up to +/– 2cm on any module. Allow for this when planning a tight space.

Is the Villa Meadow certified?

Yes. The Villa collection carries FSC certification — the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests and traceable through the entire production process. Upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex® certified, containing no allergy-promoting or harmful chemicals and produced under safe social and environmental conditions.

How long does the Villa Meadow take to arrive?

The Meadow carries 8 week lead time from the moment you order.
