The Tero lets you decide how it wears. Choose a fixed cover for a clean, tailored line, or a loose cover you can take off and refresh — same sofa, two very different characters. Underneath, it's a Furninova modular system on an FSC-certified European wood frame with nosag-sprung seats, with a choice of two comfort builds: a firmer all-foam seat, or a softer feather-topped one. Build it from a 2.5-seater to a four-seater, add a corner, chaise or divan, and finish it with black wood legs and optional back-support cushions. Fabric, made to order, designed in Sweden and made in Europe.

What's the difference between the fixed and loose cover?

The fixed cover is tailored to the frame for a clean, crisp line. The loose cover is removable — you can take it off to clean or refresh it — for a more relaxed look. It's the same sofa either way; the cover choice sets whether it reads tailored or casual. 

What comfort options are there?

Two: Foam soft and Feather soft. Foam soft is a cold-foam seat with a fibre-padded finish and a ball-fibre back — a firmer, resilient sit. Feather soft has a feather top on the seat and a feather-and-ball-fibre back — a softer, more relaxed sit. The difference is easiest to judge by sitting on them in the showroom.

What sizes does the Tero come in?

As a 2.5, 3 or 4-seater, plus corner and set configurations, and chaise or divan combinations. Because it's modular, far more layouts are possible — contact us for anything not shown and we'll build it with you.

What fabric options are available?

The Tero comes in fabric, in Grade A, B or C. Please note the grade you choose and confirm the name with us at purchase. Samples are available — contact us or visit us in Douglas, Cork.

What legs does it have?

Black wood legs, 4cm — a clean, low base. The sofa's stated heights are based on these legs.

Is the frame sustainably sourced?

Yes. The Tero is built on an FSC®-certified solid European wood frame in all bearing parts, with nosag-sprung seats. It's designed in Sweden and made in Europe.

Are footstools and extra cushions available?

Yes — a matching footstool and back-support cushions (in two sizes) are available to order. Contact us for options and pricing.

Are the covers washable?

The loose-cover version is removable, so covers can be taken off for cleaning — care depends on the fabric grade you choose. The fixed-cover version isn't removable. Ask us about the fabric you're considering before ordering.

Are the measurements exact?

The Tero is handmade, so dimensions may vary depending on the configuration and upholstery. Allow for this when planning a tight space.

How long does the Tero take to arrive?

8 weeks lead time from production to delivery.

How does payment work?

Choose to pay in full, or put down a 50% deposit and settle the remaining half before delivery. The balance isn't due until your Tero is ready.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork, or book a video consultation.
