Is the Eden a good sofa for a family?

Yes — it's one of the better family choices in our range. It's deep and soft, with long seat cushions that close the gap between them, so it's comfortable to pile onto or stretch out on. It's modular, so it scales to a big L-shape when you need the room, and the back cushions are reversible in fabric to even out wear over time. For a busy household that spends real time on the sofa, the Eden is built for it.

What makes the Eden different from other sofas?

Depth and softness. The Eden has thick cushions, long seat cushions that close the gap when you stretch out, and feather-filled backrests — it's built for sinking into rather than sitting upright. It comes in a single feather-soft comfort, so if a deep, soft sofa is what you're after, it's made for it.

How soft is it?

The Eden uses Furninova's Feather soft comfort — a cold-foam seat with a feather top, and a feather-and-fibre back. It's a soft, settle-in sit rather than firm and upright.

How can I customise it?

You choose the size and layout — from a 2.5-seater up to a full L-shape with a corner and chaise or divan, left or right facing — and the fabric, in Grade A, B or C. What sizes does the Eden come in?

From a 2.5-seater to a 4-seater, plus corner, chaise longue and divan combinations for L-shape builds. Because it's modular, more layouts are possible; contact us for anything not shown.

Can I have the L-shape facing left or right?

Yes. The chaise, corner and divan modules build left or right-facing, so the L-shape suits whichever way your room runs.

Are the covers removable?

The Eden has a fixed cover, so it isn't removable like a loose-cover sofa. The back cushions are reversible in fabric, so you can turn them to even out wear. 

What fabric options are available?

The Eden comes in fabric, in Grade A, B or C. Please note the grade you choose and confirm the name with us at purchase. Samples are available. 

What legs does it have?

Black wood legs, 4cm. The stated heights are based on these legs.

Is the frame sustainably sourced?

Yes. The Eden is built on an FSC®-certified solid European wood frame in all bearing parts, with nosag-sprung seats. It's designed in Sweden and made in Europe.

How long does the Eden take to arrive?

Approximately 8 weeks from production to delivery.

How does payment work?

You can pay in full at checkout, or choose the 50% deposit option. With the deposit, you're charged 50% today and the remaining 50% is invoiced to you before delivery — you won't be charged the balance until your Eden is ready.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork, or book a video consultation.

Book a free consultation and we'll work through the size, layout and fabric with you, and make sure it fits your room and suits how your family uses it. In the Douglas showroom, where you can sink into it and feel the fabrics, or by video call to start.

To get the most from it, it helps to have a few things ready:

• Your room measurements — height, width and depth of the space the sofa needs to fit, plus walkways around it
• Photos or a scan of the room — so we can see what we're working with
• An idea of how the room gets used — who's in it and how you like to relax
• Anything you're matching to — paint samples, flooring samples, existing wood or fabric
• Your inspiration — Pinterest boards, saved images, anything that shows the look you're after
