The Felix is a sofa bed that takes the bed part seriously. It's a clean, minimal design — a three or four-seater, or a full L-shape with a chaise — and every version opens into a proper bed on a mattress you choose: bonell-sprung or foam. So an overnight guest can enjoy a real night's sleep, not a thin fold-out. Made to order on an FSC-certified European frame, in four fabric grades.

Does the Felix work as a proper bed?

Yes — that's its strength. Unlike a thin fold-out, the Felix converts to a bed on a real mattress, and you choose between a bonell-sprung or a foam one. For a guest bed you'll use regularly, that mattress choice makes a genuine difference to how well someone sleeps.

What's the difference between the bonell and foam mattress?

The bonell mattress is sprung, for a more supportive, traditional-bed feel; the foam mattress is a firmer, more uniform surface. 

Is the Felix a corner sofa bed?

It can be. The Set 1 and Set 2 configurations, and the chaise option, build the Felix into an L-shape — left or right facing — that still converts to a bed. Tell us your room and we'll configure it to suit.

What sizes does it come in?

As an Armchair, 3 Seater, 4 Seater, or Set 1 and Set 2 (left or right facing), with an optional chaise. If none fits your room, feel free to contact us or book a consultation. 

Can I have it facing left or right?

Yes. The Set and chaise configurations build left or right facing, so the corner suits whichever way your room runs.

What legs does it come with?

A choice of two: no. 153 in wood, or no. 195 in metal chrome painted black. Specify your choice with us at order.

What fabric options are available?

The Felix comes in four fabric grades, Grade 2 through Grade 5. The higher the grade, the more natural the fibre content — Grade 5 has the least synthetic content and the most natural fibres, including linen. Confirm your chosen fabric name with us at purchase. Samples are available in our Cork showroom.

Is the frame sustainably sourced?

Yes. The Felix is built with FSC®-certified solid European wood and handmade in Europe.

Are the measurements exact?

The Felix is handmade, and SITS states a tolerance of ±2cm on all elements. Allow for this, and for the extra depth when the bed is opened, when planning your room.

How long does the Felix take to arrive?

Approximately 8 weeks from production to delivery. The Felix is available in pre-order. 

How does payment work?

You can pay in full at checkout, or choose the 50% deposit option. With the deposit, you're charged 50% today and the remaining 50% is invoiced to you before delivery — you won't be charged the balance until your Felix is ready.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork, and we'll be happy to go through our samples.

• Your room measurements — height, width and depth, plus room to open the bed out
• Photos or a scan of the room — so we can see what we're working with
• An idea of how the room gets used — including how often you'd use the bed
• Anything you're matching to — paint samples, flooring samples, existing wood or fabric
• Your inspiration — Pinterest boards, saved images, anything that shows the look you're after
