The brands we carry

Ethnicraft — solid oak and teak sideboards, TV cupboards and cabinets, known for carved and sculpted fronts (the Wave, Grooves, Mosaic and Graphic ranges) and clean minimalist designs alike. FSC-certified wood across the range (selected pieces).

Skovby — a Danish family firm founded in 1933, now run by the third generation of the Rasmussen family, known for craftsmanship, natural materials and functional Scandinavian design. The collection includes sideboards and display cabinets across several ranges.

Flamant — a Belgian interior design house with over 40 years' history, known for custom-made furniture in a classic, characterful style. Flamant has held a Royal Warrant from the Belgian Royal Household since 2007. Collection includes statement cabinets, sideboards and bookcases with a classic, characterful look, including the Balmore, Iron Jason and display cabinet ranges.

The pieces

Sideboards — A sideboard works in a dining room, a living room or a hallway — storage for dinnerware, linen or clutter, with a surface on top for lamps, plants or serving. Ours run from compact two-door designs to long four-door pieces.

TV and media units  — Built for a television and everything around it — cable management, space for a soundbar or console, and enclosed or open storage for media. From low-line units to taller cabinets.

Display cabinets and bookcases — For the things you'd rather show than hide — glass-fronted display cabinets and open bookcases that put books, glassware or objects on view.

Much of the collection is solid oak, teak or mahogany rather than veneer — heavier, more durable, and better-looking with age.

Scale is hard to judge online — a sideboard that looks right in a photo can dominate a wall in reality. In our Douglas, Cork showroom you can see the pieces at full size and check the finish before you buy. Free delivery across Ireland on orders over €399.
