Whether you are drawn to bold colours and statement patterns or prefer something more classical and neutral — the Slim is one of the most customisable bar and counter stools available in Ireland.

Upholstery fabric, piping colour, leg stain, footrest material and brass hardware details are all chosen by you before a single piece is cut. Smooth curves, a considered slim profile and a design that works as well at a kitchen island as it does at a home bar.

Fully upholstered shell available in customers choice of fabric, leather or faux leather. Armchair with a wooden frame. Variety of wood stains available as standard. Choose your fabrics, colours, piping, leg colour and even extras such as brass caps on the legs – bring a luxurious feel back to dining at home!

What is the Slim bespoke bar and counter stool?

The Slim is a fully made-to-order bar and counter stool from Pod Furniture's bespoke dining collection, manufactured by X8 Solutions Group in Portugal. Every element — upholstery, piping, leg stain, footrest— is chosen by the customer before production begins. Available in counter height (65 or 67cm or 75cm seat height) or bar height (75cm seat height).

What upholstery options are available on the Slim stool?

Three upholstery levels are available. Level 1 covers PU leather in the Arizona range — 27 colours including neutrals, brights and earth tones. Level 2 covers chenille, velvet, anti-stain and designer fabrics including patterned options. Level 3 covers bouclé and premium PU leather. Please contact us to discuss fabric and leather options and request samples before ordering.

Can I customise the leg colour?

Yes. Eight leg stain options are available — warm white, white, light grey, grey brown, antique brown, mocca brown, dark grey and black matt. The beech finish C14 is available as standard. Please specify your chosen leg stain at the time of ordering.

What footrest and hardware options are available?

Three footrest options are available — wood, chrome or brass footrail at +€30. Optional brass leg caps are available at +€80. Please specify your footrest and hardware preferences at the time of ordering.

Is the Slim stool available in both counter and bar height?

Yes. The Slim is available in counter height with a seat height of 65 or 67cm and bar height with a seat height of 75cm. Feel free to contact our team for more details or book a free consultation.

Yes. The Slim dining chair is available as a matching piece — the same customisation options apply across upholstery, leg stain and hardware. Please, contact us for details and current lead time.

What is the lead time for the Slim bespoke stool?

The Slim is made to order with a 12–14 week lead time from order confirmation. 

Can I see fabric and leather samples before ordering?

Yes. Fabric and leather samples are available in our showroom, so you can see and feel every upholstery option before committing to an order. Please contact us to arrange samples or to discuss your full configuration before placing an order.

How is the Slim stool delivered?
