Most sofas at this level are upholstered fixed — beautiful on day one, and a specialist clean every time something goes wrong after that. The Nori is built the other way. Loose cushions, removable covers, and a 15cm leg that lifts the whole frame clear of the floor so what falls under it can actually be reached. That practicality sits inside a restrained frame, nine armrest profiles, and a pared-back line that holds its own in a room you're proud of. Order it as an armchair, a two seater, a three seater or one of three ready-made sets — or build your own from a modular system of corners, chaise longues and open ends that mirror left or right. Five fabric grades, two leathers, five leg finishes. Every Nori is made to order.

Are the covers on the Villa Nori removable?

Yes. The Nori has loose cushions with removable covers, so covers can be taken off rather than cleaned in place. Care requirements vary by fabric grade — refer to the care label for your chosen fabric, and ask us before ordering if washability is a priority for you.

Is the Villa Nori a good sofa for families with children or pets?

It's built with that in mind. The covers come off, and the 15cm leg lifts the frame clear of the floor so cleaning underneath is straightforward. Fabric choice makes a real difference here too — some grades handle daily wear and claws far better than others. What sizes can I order?

The Villa Nori is available as an armchair, a two seater, a three seater, or as Set 1, Set 2 or Set 3. If none suit your room, the Nori is fully customisable — the range includes corner, multi corner, open corner, open end and chaise longue modules that can be built into almost any shape. Use our custom sofa form or contact us and we'll do it with you.

Can I have the L-shape facing left or right?

Yes. Every module mirrors from left to right, so L-shape, corner and chaise longue configurations can face either direction. Tell us which way your room runs and we'll build it to suit.

What armrest styles are available?

Nine, armrests. The narrowest keeps the sofa as open and pared-back as possible; the widest gives it real presence and a broader surface. The narrowest style is not available on chaise longue modules.

What fabric and leather options are available?

Five fabric grades (Grade 1 through Grade 5) and two leather options (Leather A and Leather B). Please note the grade you choose and confirm the fabric name with us at the point of purchase. Samples are available — contact us or visit us in Douglas, Cork to see and feel the difference before deciding.

What determines the price?

Three things: the size or set you choose, the fabric grade or leather, and any additions such as covered sides, footstools or neckrests. Armrest and leg choice may also affect the price. Contact us with the specification you have in mind and we'll give you an exact figure.

What leg options are there?

Five finishes: metal, black metal, oiled wood, white oiled wood and black coloured lacquer. Legs are 15cm high, which lifts the sofa off the floor and makes cleaning underneath straightforward.

Is the Villa Nori comfortable?

The Nori is built on a sprung base with layered high-resilience foam and fibre padding beneath the upholstery, rather than foam alone. Loose cushions can be plumped and rotated to hold their shape over time. Comfort is personal, though — the best way to judge it is to sit on one. Visit us in Douglas, Cork.

Are the sides of the sofa covered?

The sides of each seat module can be covered in fabric for an additional charge. If your Nori will be seen from the side or sit away from a wall, specify this at the point of order.

Fabric or leather?

Both are available. Please note that leather versions may require more stitching than fabric versions, so the seam pattern can differ slightly between the two.

Are footstools and neckrests available?

Yes, both to order. Footstools come in 75 x 75cm and 60 x 90cm, each 45cm high. Five neckrest styles are available. Contact us for options and pricing.

Are the measurements exact?

The Nori is handmade using soft materials, so measurements can vary by up to +/– 2cm on any module. Allow for this when planning a tight space.

Is the Villa Nori certified?

Yes. The Villa collection carries FSC certification — the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests and traceable through the entire production process. Upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex® certified, meaning they contain no allergy-promoting or other harmful chemicals and are produced under safe social and environmental conditions.

How long does the Villa Nori take to arrive?

The Nori Sofa carries a 8 weeks lead time. 

How does payment work?

You can pay in full at checkout, or choose the 50% deposit option. With the deposit, you're charged 50% today and the remaining 50% is invoiced to you before delivery — you won't be charged the balance until your Nori is ready. 

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. Fabric and leather samples are available. Visit us in Douglas, Cork, or book a video consultation and we'll take you through the grades and show you the difference in person.
